1. Introduction
At FoundersPath AI, privacy is a fundamental architectural decision, not an afterthought. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. Local Storage (IndexedDB)
All of your startup data, validation answers, pitch decks, and generated AI reports are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. We do not have cloud servers for your project data. We cannot see, access, or sell your startup ideas.
3. API Keys and Third-Party Services
When you provide an API key (e.g., for Google Gemini or OpenRouter), it is stored securely in your browser's local storage. When you request AI analysis, your browser communicates directly with the AI provider's API. Your data is sent directly to them to generate the response and is subject to their respective privacy policies.
4. Feedback and Reviews
If you explicitly submit a feature request or a review via our community forms, that specific feedback (along with the name you provide) is sent to our database to be displayed on our roadmap or Wall of Love. No project data is ever included.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We do not use any tracking cookies, analytics tools, or third-party trackers on the core application. We respect your privacy.
6. Data Deletion
Since your project data is stored locally, you have complete control over it. You can delete all your data at any time by clearing your browser data or using the "Wipe All Data" button in the Settings menu.
